Forchlorfenuron (CPPU) is as a plant growth regulator widely used in agriculture, horticulture and fruits to keep flowering, keep fruits from dropping, increase size of fruits, e.g. kiwi fruit and table grape, to promote cell division, to improve the quality of fruits and to increase yields.
Forchlorfenuron is know as the CPPU or KT-30, it is a plant growth regulator that promotes cell division in fruits and berries such as kiwifruit and grapes. It is believed to work by increasing the levels of cytokinins, which are plant hormones that stimulate cell division and growth.
